Talk to Me (2021)

Theodora, a young woman alone in a house, has so far had her life dictated to her. However, suddenly finding herself unburdened, her longing for affection and admiration draw her into a world she has created inside her head. Theodora plays out the persona she aspires to be, searching for self-hood and belonging. Yet she avoids confronting her painful past and uncertain future. As her life becomes more enmeshed with her fantasies, she struggles to detach herself from them. Theodora's interior life gives her an escape, yet is also trapping her in a dream world.
