Marisela, a Columbian immigrant mother who just moved to the United States, looks for work with the help of her social worker. She wants to be a nail technician, but she has to renew her license. This causes her great difficulty as she does not understand English. This not only makes the bureaucratic process of a license renewal difficult, but it also makes her an easy target for people looking to take advantage of others.
