Joseph Roth's Hotel Savoy

Gabriel Dan, a young Viennese Jew who was held captive for the last three years of WWI, tries to return home. He stops to rest in the nascent postwar Republic of Poland, staying at the Hotel Savoy: a cryptic and mysterious place that's hosting countless characters who are in transit. Gabriel Dan's new school of life is forged among these contradictory personalities; some of them cynics, others in despair, and yet others intoxicated in the necessity of world wide revolution. Hotel Savoy will be a contemporary adaptation of Joseph Roth's famous novel.
