Fire Starter/Kwâhkotênikêw

The film opens with stark imagery of the northern Alberta landscape and the relentless industrial complex at work. Restless and in search of peace, a man (Fire Starter) finishes his shift at a nearby industrial plant, and ventures into the woods to build a fire. An unknown traveler has awoken from his sleep, and enters the forest and searches for the Fire Starter. After creating the fire, he is visited by unknown traveler. The two figures join hands and share the fire.
