Immortal Machine (2021)

A sequel to No Monsters. An exceptional girl in Autodale discovers the horrific truth about the supposed utopia and is promptly captured by the mechanical guards known as the handymen, as the is taken to the mayor he spares her and tells her of the city's history and of the wilting goddess that ensures their safety, and the sacrifices of "uglies" to the goddess to keep her alive.
