In thirty years, hip-hop has become a constituent element of the soul of Marseille, a city in which the verb has always been capital. IAM, Soprano, the Fonky Family, Jul and a dozen other rappers, composers and producers recount the genesis and blossoming of this urban music movement, which fills stadiums and festivals and colonizes schoolyards as the evenings of middle-aged people.
