While the first guests are waiting outside in the cold, the opera house of Kiev is slowly waking up. The orchestra is rehearsing, the preparations in the cloakroom are going on. The film OPERA GLASSES is solely focusing on opera workers and guests, while observing authentic gestures of preparation, boredom and humour.
