Far from Over (1989)

A pregnant woman goes to serve her husband divorce papers in prison with their young daughter to leave him for another man. He violently lashes out at her and then escapes from prison chased by helicopters and keystone-like cops to return home, only to miss them by seconds and they drive away with his daughter waving bye bye from the window.
