The Crimson Grass and the Divine Attendant had a romantic relationship starting with celestial nectar, and in order to repay the kindness, the Crimson Grass turned into Lin Daiyu and entered the mansion of the Jia family. Baoyu and Daiyu were family friends who had a relationship in childhood. As Baochai entered the Mansion, the relationship between the two was even more complicated. Growing in wealth, the Rongguo Mansion built the Grandview Garden, into which Baoyu, Daiyu, Baochai, Yingchun, Tanchun, Xichun and Li Wan moved. Baoyu and Daiyu created and exchanged poems in the Grandview Garden every day and grew even closer. However, opposed by Baoyu's parents, their relationship eventually ended.
