Alina is floating through life working for the Post Office and already cynical. Brad, her roommate, is the opposite. He wants to be a respected journalist. When Alina's casual boyfriend, Jake, dies, she is forced to come to terms with mortality and her own flaws, with the help of her friends Brad, Sho, and, eventually, the spirit of her dead ex-boyfriend Jake, who only communicates with her via Facetime.
