Karen (2020)

After her daughter's friend is killed by police, a white woman finds herself trapped in a Black man's body and is forced to move through the world in his shoes. Karen's harrowing journey to a new understanding of a lived experience to which she previously had no intimate access, and the connections she builds and destroys along the way, are the focus of this ultra-short. Ultimately, Karen finds her greatest conflict to be her reckoning with herself and her demons.
