Casteless (2016)

During 1930s, Ganapati aka Hari Maharaj Bhabhutkar (1885-1944), hailing from Varkari sect, and resident of a small town Mangrul District in Amravati district of Maharashtra, asked his disciples to abandon their castes. After the independence of India, his disciples started to mention "Ajaat" (Casteless) in the caste column of their government related documents. This documentary is based on the experiences of these people.
