VON ARMUT BEDROHT follows the journalist Thilo Mischke who meets five people living on the edge of poverty and tells their personal stories. Director Stefan Kauertz shares a different view on the subject by creating emotional portraits of the protagonists who are not defined by a mere figure in a statistic.
