Music for 2 Pianos and Tape Recorder (2018)

Music for Two Pianos and Tape Recorder is the director's take on an event dating back to 1983 Germany. The love story of two childhood friends in East Berlin takes a dramatic turn when he escapes to West Berlin. Remaining in East she is put under surveillance by the Stasi. He does not contact her knowing the risk he would put her at. When one day he telephones her not a single word is exchanged between the lovers who instead 'talk' through playing piano. Stasi officer submits the report and the operation comes to a halt.
