Phula completes her higher school studies and wants to be a teacher and applies for a job in Pune.Lambatya a crazy guy works in the shop of Phula's mother and has feelings for her he feels by making mixtures of some ingredients and applying on Maushi and Phula will run their shop successfully and will make Phula get job in Pune.But Pujari Kaka tells him that he should try this foolishness on village fields and wells so that so that people will have better life.A Vet Dr Abhay comes to the village and wants to get married to Phula but before that she decides to go to Pune for job leaving Abhay distressed when she changes her mind and meets Abhay he tries to get physical with her but Phula manages to escape.Once Abhay makes her drink and on pretext of marriage rapes her leaving her pregnant.Phula's mother dies of shock and she goes to Pune for her job giving birth to a boy and leaving him in the care of Poojari Kaka and Lambatya.
