'The Mountaineer' is about two young lovers who run from an evil wealthy man. Victoria Stokes, wealthy businessman Nathan Stokes' daughter, finds out that her father promised her hand in marriage to Jeremiah, the son of his business partner, an evil coal tycoon named Langley Prescott. But Victoria doesn't want to marry Jeremiah because she is in love with Joshua Forbes.
