Mulheres de Havana (2020)

'Woman from Havana' is a documentary film that intends to show different women living in Havana, Cuba. In a poetic tone, we visit their houses, schools and cultures, and ask the following question to viewers: is the fight for women's rights in other countries the same as that of women who live in Cuba? Love, freedom and motherhood are addressed in the interviews. The film shows women from different generations revealing their dreams, relationships, ambitions - Covering subjects that speak to our society and those of concern to contemporary women around the world, the purpose is to learn about and understand the intimacy of each woman from Havana, their daily routines and behaviors. Women who have been historically encouraged to come together to exercise power, influence and achieve gender equality.
