Do Not Open

After arguing with her parents a distraught teen opens an email promising acceptance but, what the email delivers infests the whole family. Seeking a new level of acceptance from her friends DAUGHTER pushes her MOM and DAD for permission to attend a weekend music festival. After they reject her pleas she has to fend off her new clique's persistent push for an answer. While doing so she opens an APP invitation that downloads a virus to their router. Slowly over the next few days the entire family begins to realize that something is not quite right. SON has trouble with his online gaming, Daughter has her messages leaked, Mom can't log in and Dad doesn't seem to notice. Dad hires an I.T. GUY he meets through his online mistress and things continue to deteriorate. Soon the entire family understands, something is wrong. As the situation worsens each member of the family is held hostage by their own desires and soon, the conflict is not just outside of themselves. In an attempt to escape their troubles they relocate to a remote cabin without technology, electricity or running water. It is here that the family begins to see, there is more infecting them than their technology. In the end Daughter finds the acceptance she sought from the beginning. However, the cost to satisfy her desire is paid by the whole family.
