This is Automation (1955)

Scenes of automation in different factories are shown, including light bulbs. Silent film-era comedian Harold "Snub" Pollard appears in two scenes; the first a comic bit demonstrating an "early" attempt at automation; the second showing a seated Pollard enjoying pretzels and beer.
