The Postmaster (2016)

An adaptation of the original short story by Rabindranath Tagore, The Postmaster is the story of homesick Postmaster who finds himself out of place in the countryside Maharashtran village's rudimentary post office. His only company is his young house help Ratan who not only cooks, cleans, and runs errands for him but also keeps him company to save him from the boredom of his job in the village. As they spend more time together, they form an unexpected bond.
