Kopila

Inspired by a true story, "Kopila" (the bud) realistically presents the pathetic incident of a 13-year-old rape victim, Nirmala Panta of Kanchanpur, a district in the Far Western province of Nepal. Ms. Panta was later killed and thrown among the dense sugarcane field. A quest for justice, the movie presents the influence in the justice system and human rights status of the commoners when victimized by high-profile people.
