All My Brothers Part One deals with Britain's declaration of war in September 1939, the recruitment of Edmund O'Sullivan into the London Irish Rifles, the formation of the Irish Brigade and the arrival of the brigade in French North Africa in November and December 1942. It also covers its initial battles with the armies of the Third Reich near Bou Arada in Tunisia in January and February 1943. Further episodes cover the rest of the Tunisian campaign, the invasion of Sicily and the Allied campaign in Italy in 1943-45. All My Brothers is based on the book of the same name by Edmund O'Sullivan and includes eyewitness accounts of Irish Brigade veterans including Charles Ward who was 101 in 2019.
