Violet (2020)

Avery, a ten-year-old girl, is mature by necessity as her mother pursues a nocturnal career as a musician. To compensate for her loneliness, she conjures an imaginary friend who keeps her company when her mom performs. When this friend encourages Avery to spend a day without rules, she indulges in the fantasy, but ultimately must face the reality of her difficult relationship with her mother.
