After graduating from prestigious film school, director Fan Li Wen comes back to China to direct his first feature, a time-travel costume drama. As the male lead disappears and original production falls apart, Fan Li Wen struggles against the rest of cast and crew, trying to pitch his new screenplay, while no one is convinced to give it a shot.
