One Day (2019)

Adapted from a poem written by its director, One Day is an experimental poetry film tight-roping the line between reality and fantasy; solemnity and humor; despair and hope. From the perspective of the seemingly all-knowing yet mysterious love interest, One Day probes the mind and actions of the film's protagonist, played by budding actress Omolade Wey. With a climax inspired by Revelations Chapter 3, Verse 20 of the Bible, a feeling of unconditional love and hope permeates the hearts of the protagonist and the audience alike.
