Megamerse

They were born, into extended families, requiring collaborative work and under hazardous conditions. It was unknown, their DNA had been altered, by the various chemicals and nuclear exposures, they were exposed to. Megamerse, is an heir to both families and their combined mutated DNA. Dangerous chemical elements, along with nuclei, and nucleons have made a powerful brew that enhance mutation in the DNA of Megamerse. While fighting an oil fire, as a member of the DRU, an accidental electrical shock stimulates the first of the mutated effects, immersing him into the oil, in the oil fire, he is fighting. Megamerse bounces back and finds he has supernatural ability to control changes in the very nature of his physical being. This realization is amazing and somewhat disturbing. He begins work, with an organization dedicated to helping the Environment. His grandfather, Jonney, was the head of this outfit and recruited Megamerse, because of his superpower. Megamerse uses his superpower as an agent for the DRU (Disaster Response Unit) to infiltrate businesses that are making a profit while destroying the environment. Pegasus Corporation was siphoning oil from wells drilled in a South American country then selling it back to the very company, from where it had come from. They were making a huge profit from the theft, Pegasus executives were very happy. Turning on these criminals, Megamerse becomes the focus of the Pegasus Corporation. Their intentions are to destroy Megamerse, and on more than one occasion they tried to take his life. Because of the ties that the Pegasus Corporation has, influential and powerful people were in on the plans, for the murder of Megamerse. Greed and love of power compel them to continue to plot against Megamerse, as well as continue profiting from the business that was causing more Global Warming. A corrupt President of the United States, Don Julian. uses his power to illegally confiscate land in and around the Alaskan Tundra. He employs the Pegasus Corporation to obtain land leases in their corporate name, but ownership belongs to the President. Megamerse learns of the plans and converts himself into the lands, slated to be destroyed. He makes it impossible for the construction crews to finish the work. Work that would also destroy land and waterways needed by generations of indigenous people. Megamerse gains the help of the members of the DRU and the National Defense League, an organization of lawyers, dedicated to stopping crimes against the environment. It takes the combined efforts of them all to stay on top, of the President and the operatives of the Pegasus Corporation. What no one could fathom, is the length the president was willing to go to, for profit. Megamerse must realign the planet so that the Summer Solstice would at high noon. When accomplished, the rays of the Sun would shine directly on the doorway, at Puma Punke, making a gateway for They Who Are to come through. They Who Are, are the beings of everlasting that help planet Earth remain a habitable home for human beings. The President had a tactical nuclear warhead planted into the crust of the planet and exploded it. In a corrupt plot with powerful communist leaders, plans are made to take over the economies of all nations of the world. The exploding nuclear warhead shifted tectonic plates causing massive oil spills and collisions of ships into each other and into newly lifted, uncharted landmasses. Megamerse worked in a time-space continuum for 40,000 years into the future. His tireless work of cleaning up planet Earth continued. Megamerse, along with a genetic relative, who had a superpower, to resist all forces against him, sought the help of They Who Are. The overarching plan of They Who Are returning to Earth after 40,000 years was a vital concern. They Who Are would determine if humanity deserved help, saving the planet, or if humanity did not deserve help, but instead should be left with their own consequences of a planet unable to provide a habitable environment for human life. Megamerse, and his new super-powered partner, came across a time vortex, made up of pure O16 oxygen. They decided, they had to go back in time and stop the evil President from starting the destruction of the planet. They succeeded but Jason, Megamerse's new partner, got trapped between two tectonic plates during the operation. He resisted the force of them crashing into each other but got locked in, between them. Megamerse, asked They Who Are to help remove Jason from his predicament, as they were about to emerge from Puma Punke, 40, 000 years in the past.
