Arc (2016)

A loan astronaut, Kennedy, is all that's left on the Arc, a spaceship sent into the stars to save humanity from a deadly plague. With the rest of his crew wiped out, the astronaut fails to find a cure for the deadly disease ravaging his last laboratory animal, a cloned capuchin monkey. But the stakes are much higher - Kennedy is keeping alive the last human clone, a young girl named Nadia. With her life in the balance, Kennedy comes face to face with hopelessness and contemplates giving up. But after teaching Nadia about humanity's ability to do the impossible, he returns to his work with renewed passion.
