Mason Meets Nadine (2018)

"Mason Meets Nadine" is a short film that studies the characters of a young, optimistic boy, and a twenty-year-old woman who feels her best years are behind her. Finding one another by chance in a park, Mason quickly befriends the distant Nadine. Because of Mason's positivity, Nadine slowly begins to open up to the boy. However, Mason learns that encouragement can only go so far. Likewise, Nadine realizes that the prospect of reclaiming her life is far more frightening than what happened in her past. Together, the characters discover not only an unlikely friendship, but understand more about themselves.
