Jamal (2015)

Jamal Yacob escaped from Darfur over 10 years ago. His journey took him from Sudan via Libya and Egypt to Israel, where he now lives in the detention center in Holot, in the Negev desert. Many of his friends have drowned in search of exile in the Mediterranean, have been trafficked and murdered. Jamal is a teacher and believes that refugees need education to believe in hope.
