Little Willem plans a celebration for his deceased grandfather like the Mexicans do on their famous Day of the Dead. And so a small East Frisian cemetery becomes the scene of a colourful hustle and bustle. After some back and forth, Willem can even persuade his taciturn neighbor, farmer Hendrik, to join in and thus commemorate his deceased mother.
