Les mystères des majorettes (2020)

In a small town in the south-west of France tragedy strikes. The body of a young majorette is found near the property of Mrs Li, a Chinese wine grower settled in the region for 15 years. Claire is the gendarme captain in charge of the case, which is made all the more complicated by the rivalry between the majorettes, the villagers' xenophobia and old family problems now resurfacing. On top of all this, Claire is forced to team up with a local criminologist, whose psychological analysis is not her style. But their collaboration will be vital for solving the mystery in the village. What's more, their forced cooperation reveals their own secrets. They'll need to come clean to each other for the purposes of the investigation.
