ROTPUNKT follows young German climbing phenom Alex Megos as he tries to repeat and establish the hardest single-pitch rock climbs in the world. The film explores the history of Frankenjura free climbing that underpins Alex's climbing and philosophy, reveal the heavy burden of expectation he puts on himself to become the best climber in the world and explore what it takes to push the boundaries of human possibility.
