When modern science fails to get Rose pregnant, she puts her trust in a little Gypsy magic. With the blessing of the Black Madonna statue, which mysteriously appears in her garden, Rose believes she will succeed. Little does she realize, as her marriage falls apart, that there is more to creating a family than conception.
