Take the Money and Run (2019)

Set in a small Texas town, a broke and unemployed young man on a job hunt accidentally applies for an online scam promising the opportunity to work from home and make $2,000 a week. After sending in his application, he is sent his first check of $1,950 with instructions from his new "boss" to deposit the check. Upon realizing it to be scam, he does research and learns the check will likely go through at first, but sometime later will be withdrawn by the scammers, wiping his bank account clean. Out of desperation for money and a hatred for scammers, the man tries to do what he can to take the money and run without the check being confiscated by the law or the scammers stealing his money.
