Da Projects (1997)

A realistic film from the hood where everyday life situations are explored while living in urban areas known as "the projects." Nosy old ladies Debra Ann and Flora are two busy bodies from the projects of Harlem, who miss nothing and always know the latest gossip. They listen to the radio and the beats of the street to keep up with the going ons in their beloved neighborhood. Coco, a high school student has left home, only to be kidnapped by the neighborhood psycho. Can the nosy old ladies reach her in time.
