Oroqen is a minority ethic group which has the least population in Northeast China. The Oroqen has a history of nearly 400 years, but it does not have a written language, so the culture of this minority is fading away. An elder of Oroqen named Wu Xiaodong was trying her best to translate and reorganize Oroqen language in Chinese characters and Pinyin. Knowing that the minority's culture may be disappearing, she wants to leave a trace of its own people.
