Sheep or (If You Scream on an Island and No One Hears It Does It Make a Sound?)

October 1999, a freelance journalist arrives at the remote island Bald Head, North Carolina to investigate the strange circumstances of a Police Officer's alleged suicide, whose body was found near the Old Baldy Lighthouse with a gunshot wound to the back of her head. The journalist encounters more than average animosity against her research and quickly finds herself in trouble. After a bar brawl with a local butcher, she is brought in for questioning. The butcher has disappeared overnight and the local sheriff will not allow her to leave during investigations. She is effectively stuck on an island that doesn't want her there. And things are about to get worse. Much, much worse - The journalist was never found again.
