The Last Day (2020)

"The Last Day" follows Lucas (an aspiring musician) and his best friend Brandon during a couple of brief moments on their last day of high school. Lucas wants to pursue a music career, but due to his mother's apprehension, wrestles with embracing his vision for the future. When Brandon reveals he's moving away, the two friends experience a moment of conflict- where Brandon ends up calling Lucas out on his indecision about the future. Lucas eventually decides that he will embrace his future - despite having to say goodbye to all he's called home for the past 17 years.
