The Celebrities in Lane (1985)

Set in a small county in western Sichuan. Three families live in the same lane, a arts shop owner selling wreaths, a widow trading old used clothes, and a canine butcher. The three turn up their noses at each other. But they become fateful and helping each other during the ten years of catastrophe, struggle for survival against vicious power.
