Featured are: researcher Anne Carpenter, who combines genetic research and computer software to identify the causes and cures for disease with her team at MIT and Harvard, Joan Higginbotham, a US astronaut who carries out experiments and operates robotic arms in space, and Duy-Loan Le, who leads teams of researchers inventing new technologies.
