A day after Jesús Pérez, most known as Obá Ilú, passes away, his friends and family pay tribute; improvising a celebration full of music and memories in the same "Solar" where he lived in the Cayo Hueso neighborhood in Havana. Filmed in B&W, this documentary is an evocation of the soul of the great Obá Ilú, King of the people, master of the batá drum of the religion Yorùbá in Cuba.
