Hockeytown (2019)

The 2017-2018 season had started badly for the Hockey Club Bolzano: in November it was sadly in the last position of the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga. The arrival of a new coach, Kai Suikkanen, and a few key players pushed the team higher and higher until they secured a place in the play-off on the last day. In the post-season the team proved to be really strong and went on to win the title. This sports fairy tale becomes for the director a way to tell the special relationship between the city of Bolzano, his ice hockey team and a sport, ice hockey, which in Italy has no great following but in this city in the middle of the Alps is almost a religion.
