No sex or nudity on screen. Partly takes place in a brothel, and there are very frank discussions of sexual behaviours - biting a breast, oral sex, sniffing drugs off a man's bottom, having sex with a drug dealer's friends.

A character loses a leg to infection. Another dies after inhaling refrigerant ("his frozen lungs tinkled as they shattered", or something similar). Discussion of a fight, a killing, threats. All implied or discussed; there is no violence or gore in the film.

'Fuck' and 'fucking' are used frequently, often literally as part of the action is set in a brothel. Some religious / Christian language too, if that bothers you. Mentions of cock sucking, again as a literal act rather than a term of abuse, and 'snorting a line of meth off (someone's) ass".

No drinking, although a character mentions going to a bar. No smoking. Frequent references to prescription and illicit drugs - heroin, meth. A character is prescribed several medications but another says they 'only take the ones that get you high'. The dealer is pragmatic. He is happy to lure a former addict back, knowing they will bring their friends with them. Talk of a man who dies from inhaling refrigerant.

Characters are in very grim circumstances - addiction, prostitution, custody - but the story is told with sensitivity, compassion and humour.
