The Cursed: Paradox Lost

What if the gods still walked among us, separated from us only by the thin veil of our own disbelief? What if every monster, legend, myth, and conspiracy theory was real? In the dark yet vivid reality our Superheroes inhabit, they are the last line of defense between humanity and the things it no longer believes in. At the base of the oldest existing pyramid on the planet, buried beneath the hills of central Texas by the blast that ended the dinosaurs, a small clan of cursed Messianic warriors, deities and mythological heroes has secretly carried on its mission for thousands of years. Lead by the Celtic Demigod CuChulainn, this unlikely band of murderous Dark Heroes has been charged with keeping the balance between good and evil upon the earth for over 2,000 years. Modern-day finds them all struggling with the karmic debris created by living through two millennia. Social media and technology are tearing away at the veil of secrecy that has kept their enigmas so well hidden from the world, and from each other, as the centuries have rolled by. While the drama of their personal lives erupts in an all too perfect distraction, the real enemy has begun a war, unlike anything humanity can remember. CuChulainn and his faction of cursed superheroes, must now take matters into their own hands or watch helplessly as humanity is virtually made extinct by the warring gods.
