Black Yellow (2019)

'Kali Pili' is inspired by Abbas Kiarostami 'Ten', it's loosely based on true events, which have taken place in Mumbai. 'Aaftab'(taxi-driver)is our main protagonist and the film depicts conversations between him(unchanged) and a variety of passengers as he drives around Mumbai. The movie has 10 stories and 10 different passengers, from morning till midnight, it also at the same time explores a lot of characters from different spheres of society and their respective conversation with the taxi-driver. The screenplay is partly improvised and is shot in a single camera set-up. Apart from the various characters, different locations in Mumbai is been also shown in the film.
