La Ahorcadita (2013)

In the Mexican state of Baja California Sur is a town called Todos Santos, where the legend of the Hanged Girl prevails. Those who know the story tell of a 15 year old pregnant girl, named Matilde, who died mysteriously in the desert, hanging from a tree. According to the heirs of the tale, the Hanged Girl performs miracles to those who offer prayers and gifts. However, nobody knows what she takes in exchange. The mystery of her death remains open.
