Disturbing scenes of torture involving slavery throughout

At the start of the film, a woman is choked by a rope around her neck and gets shot. Her dead body is then seen getting dragged along the ground by a horse

A woman is raped offscreen; Only the side of the bed is shown being shaken. The man moans, but only lasts for a couple of seconds before the man is seen getting off of her. They're both fully clothed and no nudity is shown.

A pregnant slave is beaten and then has a miscarriage onscreen.

Two slaves engage in a fight against their master. One of them is killed when an axe is slammed into their chest, while the master is repeatedly hit with blunt objects until he is stabbed in the torso with a sword.

A slave engages in a fist fight with her master's wife. She beats her to near death before tying a noose around her neck, then drags the wife on the ground with her galloping horse until her head bashes the base of a statue, killing her.

A woman is kidnapped when what she thinks is her Uber lift is actually a trap. One of the captors attempts to incapacitate her while she thrashes and screams, kicking the car doors and windows, before her head is slammed against the car window, knocking her out and leaving a spot of blood behind.

The film has strong profanity, including the words "f**k" and "c**t".

Men slap women multiple times, very disturbing

The film's depiction of the Antebellum south can be particularly upsetting, as we see slave masters and confederate soldiers raping, torturing, and even killing some of their disobedient slaves.
