Scientists at a pharmaceutical company stumble on a formula that increases cognition and retention, a discovery sure to bring fame and fortune. Residents of a small town in Maine agree to have their high school kids participate in clinical trials, believing the Einstein Solution will propel them to the head of the global economy. Several weeks into the trials, the students show no measurable changes. Enter a rogue scientist with a bio-engineering solution. Success is immediate. The Einsteiners transform into perfect physical and intellectual specimens. Unfortunately, the changes don't stop there. The Einsteiners become hedonistic, vicious. They consider anyone who isn't one of them irrelevant and insignificant; nothing more than creatures to be abused and eliminated.
