Vincent stares deep into the cosmos of the room, he hasn't slept in days yet his focus is unbroken. Velma enters the room like a bull in a china shop, she brushes her face and then takes a seat opposite Vincent. They begin playing tennis with their words, dancing around the subject of Charlotte: a two-year-old that has gone missing. The deeper they delve, the more we learn of these two characters. Finally it becomes clear to us that Vincent is the police detective and Velma is being investigated. The extremities of Velma's mental condition have led her to abduct Charlotte. In an attempt to crack the case, Vincent becomes Velma's therapist. By forcing her to face what she is running from, Velma reveals the information that is needed to rescue Charlotte. When Charlotte is found, the healing process begins for Velma.
