Unekk Sammadhama? (2022)

Three kids, Arasu, Mukilan and Selvan grew up next to each other in a remote fisher-folk's village in remote Tamil Nadu. The three lived next door to each with very little means for any luxuries. Into their lives arrives a 5 year old motherless girl Aruvi. The four best friends grew up, filled with happiness that life's innocence brought them. Growing up Arasu provides for Aruvi everything that she required. A drunk father made it more than necessary for Arasu to take over the protective role of a father, brother and friend too. Arasu spends his growing years toiling and fending for Aruvi, her shelter, education, food and clothing. This means that he had to forgo his own personal ambitions like education, a decent job in the city, wealth etc. In the meanwhile, Selvan leaves to Singapore while Arasu remains in the village and continues to educate Aruvi. Years later Aruvi has now graduated as a doctor and is the only doctor in the village and Selvan returns from Singapore a wealthy, handsome young man. It is at this point that unbeknown to Arasu, the families decide to get Selvan and Aruvi married. A heart broken and cheated Arasu opens his heart to his best friend Mukilan. Even though Arasu tries hard to be forgiving; he is unable to do so and threatens to avenge Selvan for cheating behind his back. The night before the wedding a rage-filled Arasu arrives at the bride's home and confronts Selvan, Aruvi and the villagers.
